I'm Liking Santiago in the Sunshine :)

Really, really liking this city. Extending my plan of stay and making good money. Slight problem with Policia Local sketching in front of the cathedral, but other than that it's a very enjoyable city to sketch and paint in. Trying a few dynamic watercolours tomorrow. Pretty sure they'll make some good Christmas presents for someone.

Very similar vibe to Granada, but it has more dosh, more trendy bars (as well as plenty of cheap bars to keep me sane) and a tolerant, progressive attitude for Spain.

Plenty of sunshine today. I'm hoping it lasts. This city is a good little earner for the likes of me.

Good to know that you're still keeping the old policia local occupied! Sounds like you're having a good time on your journey. Keep up the good work. I'm jealous. I'm learning about weather systems in Latin America (did you know the El Nino effect is named after the wee baby Jesus cos its effects are strongest around about Christmas time)
Hope the weather stays sunny now,
Good luck,

Good to read from you. Hope all is going accordingly wherever you are. I'm more interested in the effects of La NiƱa this winter. Interesting stuff.

There's a guy here playing Galician pipes under an arch. Not a patch on the Scottish variety.
